This is a closeup of the Hotel location, which is next to Eastgate Park and Ride. There is an HOV-only exit (2 or more per car) at the Park and Ride (NE 142nd); otherwise use the exit at 148th Ave NE. Click the image for a larger version.
Driving Directions to the Church
For those of you taking freeways to get to the Church for the wedding, here are driving instructions. There are 2 ways to access the Church parking lot, but the instructions below take you in the back way (#1 on the map below), which turns out to be the easiest way because of the traffic light. You can also enter from point #2, but trying to turn left across traffic on Newport Way can be a challege.
From the West
From the West (Seattle)
- Get onto I-90 heading East to Bellevue (approximately 12 miles).
- Pass under the junction of the I-405.
- Get in the far right lane (watch for traffic merging from your right) to take the Factoria Blvd exit.
- Turn right off the ramp and proceed south until you reach the entrance to the Newport High School (about 0.7 miles), which is opposite a Private Drive.
- Turn left onto that private drive.
- Follow the drive uphill until you reach the Church parking lot.
From the South
From the South (Sea-Tac, Tukwila, Kent, etc.)
- Get onto I-405 north towards Bellevue/Everett.
- Use the Coal Creek Parkway/Factoria Blvd SE exit (#10) and turn right off the ramp.
- Turn left at the third light (Factoria Blvd), then turn right at the second light, the Private Drive opposite Newport High School.
- Follow the drive uphill until you reach the Church Parking lot.
From the North
From the North (Kirkland, Bothell, Everett, etc.)
- Take I-405 South towards Bellevue/Renton.
- Just past the I-90 junction take the Coal Creek Parkway/Factoria Blvd SE exit (#10) on the right. Turn left off the ramp.
- Turn left at the fourth light (Factoria Blvd.) then turn right at the second light, the Private Drive opposite Newport High School.
- Follow the drive uphill until you reach the Church Parking lot.
From the East
From the East (Issaquah, Snoqualmie, North Bend, etc. )
- Take I-90 west to Exit #11 (148th Ave SE, 150th Ave SE). At the fork in the exit, take the left fork to access 148th Ave SE and 150th Ave SE.
- After the fork, stay left to skip the first exit marked 148th Ave SE/Eastgate Way.
- Stay in the left lane and continue to the 150th Ave SE exit.
- Get into the far right lane of 3 lanes to take the 150th Ave SE exit, but be careful of traffic merging from your right.
- Follow the exit ramp around to the right, then merge into the right lane on 150th Ave SE. Be careful of traffic merging from your left.
- Stay in the right lane and turn right at the second light, onto SE 38th St.
- Follow SE 38th Street around and downhill to Factoria Blvd. (approximately 2.1 miles).
- Turn left onto Factoria Blvd, and head south about 0.7 miles to the Private Drive opposite Newport High School.
- Turn left onto the Private Drive.
- Follow the drive uphill until you reach the Church parking lot.
